2. What was the name of the man in the Bible who called a bear attack on some children who were teasing him about his baldness?
(Answer) Elisha Mocked
Then he went up from there to Bethel; and as he was going up by the way, young lads came out from the city and mocked him and said to him, “Go up, you baldhead; go up, you baldhead!” When he looked behind him and saw them, he cursed them in the name of the LORD. 3. What did queen Esther do before going to meet with the king after she was married to him?
Answer: Esther completed a year of intensive spa-like beauty treatments prior to getting married to the king. However, after marrying the king when she discovered that the Jews were set to be destroyed, she asked the Jews to fast for 3 days while she and her maidens or attendants did the same.
Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai, 16 “Go, assemble all the Jews who are found in Susa, and fast for me; do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my maidens also will fast in the same way. And thus I will go in to the king, which is not according to the law; and if I perish, I perish.” So Mordecai went away and did just as Esther had commanded him (Esther 4:5-17).
4. How many brothers and sisters did David have?
Answer: There appears to be debate about the amount of siblings that David had because in 1 Samuel he is referred to as the eighth son of Jesse his father. However, later on in the Bible, he is described as being the seventh son of Jesse his father. If you believe in the inerrancy, of scripture or that the Bible is without error. Therefore, it is safe to say that one of David’s brothers died. David also had two sisters. The correct answer would be 7 brothers and 2 sisters.)
5. What were Gideon’s weapons when he fought the Midianites?
Answer: Trumpets, pitchers and lamps.
Gideon and the hundred men with him reached the edge of the camp at the beginning of the middle watch, just after they had changed the guard. They blew their trumpets and broke the jars that were in their hands. The three companies blew the trumpets and smashed the jars. Grasping the torches in their left hands and holding in their right hands the trumpets they were to blow, they shouted, “A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!” (Judges 7:19-20)
